
It’s that time of year and everyone at the Cyprus stand is gearing up, ready to welcoming our visitors and dish out every ounce of hospitality in our DNA!
We’ll be delighted to see you and this year we’re happy to offer a wide range of Cypriot home-made food. Literally home_made. All our volunteers are busy in their kitchens putting together mamma’s most traditional and delicious recipes. And on top of that, we’ve brought a whole range of stuff all the way from Cyprus especially for you, more than last year, which was more than the year before:
- traditional wine sausage
- sheftalia – more than ever before cos we know how much you love them.
- mousakka which we can never make enough of
- halloumi in pitta, but also packaged halloumi for you to try at home
- pastitsio (oven macaroni)
- tzatziki (actually, we call it ttalattouri) and tahini
- koupepia (dolma)
- Lots of pulses and other vegetarian options, salad and lots more.
- Cypriot wine from the top wineries of the island
- Commandaria sweet wine (a sort of port)
- Did we mention halloumi?
- Oregano straight from Cyprus for you to buy as much as you want. You won’t find better oregano.
- Cypriot KEO beer& zivania (45% alcohol – try a shot or two and avoid driving)
- Artisanal jewellery & silverware, hand-made in Cyprus, brought over specially for the event
- Cypriot coffee on the go
- and a whole range of traditional sweets
