In honour of the 50th anniversary of the Bazar International, the Emergency Relief Fund (Fond humanitaire d’Urgence) was founded. This fund has since provided immediate relief to the victims of emergencies and natural disasters around the world. It gives financial assistance to victims, quickly and effectively.
In the past, money from this fund has been used to help victims of:
- the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey
- the war in the Ukraine
- the earthquakes in Italy
- the typhoon in the Bahamas
- the war in Syria, aiding refugees fleeing from Syria to Europe
- the explosion in 2020 in Lebanon
