The Thai Stand has been present at the Bazar International since 2007. Our team is a big group of friends of different nationalities who love Thailand and Thai people. We (about 30 people) are all volunteers and have a lot of fun spending a little of our time together in the Stand for this great charity event.
Our kitchen crew is led by Hubert Lin, Laotian, he has a long-standing experience in Thai cuisine. He prepares the delicious Thai food at home and gives it the final touch ‘sur place’. You will have the opportunity to taste our lovely dishes.
We also have the famous Singha (Thai beer) for sale.
We also have the usual traditional products such as beautiful cotton hill tribe fabrics, indigo-dyed and embroidered (small and big purses and ‘yams’ (shoulder bags), purses, shawls, spirit houses, statues, a lot of silk scarfs, printed cotton sarongs (long wrapping skirts), temple bells and home and wall decorations.
Here are some of Not for Profit Organisations (NGOs) the Thai Stand has, over the years, presented to Committee of the Bazar International and that received financial support.
