The British Stand has updated their stand and are willing to pass on their old one for a charitable donation!

The “old” British Stand is made up of thick pieces of MDF approx 1 metre by 1 metre which are either block red or blue. These MDF pieces fit together to form a counter top and a shelf underneath and are held together with metal joining pieces. The special screwdrivers used for the joining pieces are included. Hence one counter top area of 1m by 1m would have five panels (one for the counter top, one for the shelf underneath, one each side and one at the front).

As the pieces are 1m by 1m, the stand can be used by both small and larger stands and built up in a square or rectangular shape. It could also be built up in a straight line. The stand takes up an area of 8m by 6m and hence would have at least 20 pieces to make up the counter tops. There are sufficient MDF pieces for the counter top, panels at the front of the stand and side panels to help support the counter top.

Each MDF piece is not heavy but the weight soon mounts up with the number of panels so it is not advisable to transport too many pieces by car. A trailer or small truck is recommended.

The Old British Stand is up for grabs!
